Yesterday I had the absolute pleasure of shooting the gorgeous wedding of Alex and Paul in Windsor, Berkshire. The weather wasn't great but it didn't stop us, the day started for me at The Oakley Court Hotel where Alex was getting ready, this hotel is stunning and if you visit Windsor you should definitely think about staying there. Their Ceremony was at The Holy Trinity Church follwed by a horse and carriage ride to Windsor Castle and then on to where Paul is stationed at Combermere Barracks which is the home of the Household Cavalry Regiment.
I wanted to show you a small selection of images from their wedding day, I'm sure you'll agree with me that they both looked absolutely beautiful.
Their online slideshow is NOW AVAILABLE for viewing (please scroll down the page their slideshow is at the bottom of the post). If you are viewing this via an Apple device (iPhone/iPad) then you'll need to view it through a web browser such as Puffin Browser (available via the App Store or this link http://www.puffinbrowser.com/intro/?ref=dhphnexgmpfka).
I hope you enjoy their photographs - Gavin
PS. I will be posting these images on my facebook page (http:www.facebook.com/gavinconlanphotography) where you can share and tag them as you wish, all I ask is that you do not remove my watermark or reference my page (link above) where possible.
Last Saturday was the wedding of Gemma and Steven - they held the ceremony at St Margarets Church in Stanford-le-Hope followed by the reception at Three Rivers Golf and Country Club in Purleigh, Essex.
Looking back at the weather for this past week they were so lucky as Saturday was glorious, Three Rivers in the sunshine is a beautiful venue with stunning views over looking the golf course.
I would recommend this venue to everyone because the staff made you feel so welcome and was always on hand to help. You'll see by some of the shots too that the interior has lots of mirrors and hopefully by now you'll know I love shooting reflections - I was totally in my element.
I was joking with Gemma the night before the wedding and she was trying to tell me how she wasn't looking forward to the posing and in her words "isn't very photogenic" I remember laughing at the time because I knew she would be great - I'm sure you'll agree with me that she looks beautiful in these images. Steven on the other hand I'm sure had been practising because he was straight into the pose needing very little direction, he even had the head tilt perfect. I had so much fun with both of them it just makes you want to be able to spend more time shooting together, it's a shame things like the wedding breakfast and speeches get in the way....
Gemma, Steven I hope you both absolutely love these images and I can't wait to show you more.
Your slideshow is now live and can be viewed at the bottom of this post - I hope you love it....
